Hey there! Thanks for checking out my Sonic PhD blog. My name is Liz Henderlong, I’m 23 years-old and still live with my parents. Ok good, we got that out of the way.
My Forte
For 15 years, I’ve been trained in classical music: mainly voice and piano. For the past 5 years, I studied advertising in undergraduate and graduate school. When I couldn’t decide where to take my career: music or advertising, I just plowed right on through that fork an paved a new road. That’s when I discovered sonic branding.
In July 2009, I completed my Master of Arts thesis on the use of repeated sonic branding online. Needless to say, I’ve read a lot about this stuff.
My purpose here
Simple really. I want to be the sonic branding department for businesses, marketers and advertising agencies who don’t have one. I hope to constantly teach you something you didn’t already know…about sound anyway. But that’s not all, I want to learn from you too. So please leave comments or send email.
